The Northwest Parkway is undergoing the the installation of two additional solar panel sites along its facilities, bringing its total number of solar sites to nine.
☀️ The newest sites are at our administration building and maintenance facility – the latter of which will produce over 100% of its energy needs from the new panels. The Parkway’s nine solar sites’ collective capacity will grow from 62kW to 150kW – a 142% increase. Since 2011, our solar program has reduced emissions by an equivalent of 900 tons of CO2.
